Description

Sparta is a leading provider of enterprise SaaS (software-as-a-service) intelligence solutions for improving resilience, which is the combination of human performance and injury prevention. This enterprise intelligence resources (EIR) platform aggregates our patented force plate data alongside other relevant datasets to predict real-time issues in order to avoid or minimize harm, optimize outcomes and support preventive care across sports organizations, the military, and eventually outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities 

This position will work alongside other Sparta coaches at our Menlo Park location, as well as several opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, including Sparta Pacific’s facility in Sydney Australia.

Coach. Work directly with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional level to maximize their movement mechanics, adopt better recovery habits, and educate them on the best routes for continued development of their specific resilience.

Recruiting. Work in the local and global community to create relationships that allow Sparta and its technology to help more athletes and coaches.

Technology Application. Daily usage of Sparta’s patent software, alongside timing gates, HRV, GPS, radars, etc. to develop evidence based programs.

Requirements

  • Passion for coaching athletes, high emotional intelligence to develop relationships
  • Scientific and/or technical experience/interest
  • 4+ years experience as coach in a sport or strength & conditioning
  • Experience as collegiate athlete
