Go Beyond Sport Specific!

At SPARTA, we like to say our Secret is in the Floor. That's where we've installed a highly sensitive laboratory instrument called a Bertec® force plate. When an athlete performs a movement while in contact with the plate (jumping for example), we can measure how much and how quickly they produce force in three different directions. This is far more specific and revealing than simply measuring vertical jump height for example.
When you perform our proprietary combination of athletic movements on the force plate, we can rapidly determine (in about 20 minutes) whether you are what we call a Force or Time-dominant athlete. Think of it like a x-ray of your nervous system. We are able to take a deeper look, and change your nervous system with specific combinations of different training movements.
This matters to us (and you) because we know that the very best athletic movements involve a sophisticated application of Force applied over a relatively short period of Time. With your nervous system "x-ray", we'll be able to design work-outs that strengthen the force, or time component of your nervous system, based on what you need.
It all sounds very sophisticated because it is! Unlike some other trainers, we don't promote one conditioning method over another (plyometrics, Olympic lifting or core training for example).
