MD founded, we’ve united an expert team with backgrounds ranging from biomechanics, data science, and machine learning engineering to domain experts in athletic training, strength & conditioning, and professional athletics.  Our years of research and advanced A.I. technology is helping us reinvent the diagnosis and treatment of movement-related injuries and disorders.

We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to be a key member of our Marketing team. You will be responsible for positioning and messaging of Sparta’s movement platform and the features and analytics that set us apart from competitors and provide the greatest customer value. This leader will work closely with Product, Sales and Success to create content that educates our GTM teams and customers.

This is a full time role that can be held remotely in the United States

  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years managing end-to-end product marketing at a tech, consumer finance or innovative, fast-paced consumer brand
  • Ability to develop and implement processes to quickly scale product marketing in a rapidly expanding startup that services three distinct industries: healthcare, government and sports
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable reviewing and analyzing business performance metrics, and ability to adjust when necessary
  • Results-driven, with a passion for using data to build marketing campaigns that tackle business problems, advance our brand narrative, and resonate with our member base
  • Imaginative thinker ready to get creative and take risks building a B2B brand from ground level
  • Highly effective communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Fast learner, detail-oriented, and must enjoy fast-paced work environments
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, compelling messaging, and a persuasive writing style.
  • Success bringing innovative B2B offerings to market
  • Proven track record of setting and accomplishing goals with clear targets, resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Define, manage, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing product features including: audience definition, product positioning, comms architecture, and launch strategy
  • Gain a deep understanding of buyer needs across our three verticals: healthcare, government and sports
  • Partner closely with our Sales, Success and Product teams to understand our members needs and the broader competitive landscape
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of go-to-market plans working closely with Product, Design, Paid Acquisition, Social, Content, Lifecycle, and PR
  • Ensure alignment on product positioning and communication architecture across all channels including Marketing, Success, Government Research and Product
  • Implement a data-driven approach to campaign strategy focusing investments on the most impactful outcomes and critical metrics
  • Develop product messaging to be used across all media and customer engagement channels
  • Lead global cross-functional launch and release marketing initiatives
  • Create and maintain a library of sales tools, such as customer presentations and competitive materials
  • Create and distill technical content (e.g. thought leadership, videos, website copy, blog posts, infographics) to articulate the benefits of the solution to the marketplace
  • Build product awareness through PR, article placements, and social media
