Coffee better than Veggies?

Several studies have surfaced over last decade showing the benefits of drinking coffee, ranging from reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s Disease to decreasing the incidence of viral infections. One of the main reasons is that coffee is one of the most antioxidant-rich foods most people consume. Antioxidants play a key role in both preventing both the causes and consequences of disease .

A study out of the University of Oslo found coffee to be the largest contributor to antioxidant defense. Fruits, tea, vegetables, and wine were a distant second so make sure you’re getting in your daily cup…or 3 or 4.
