Once you’ve attained a mastery level of coaching, which could be objectively based off Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers book that recommends 10,000 hours, establishing a relationship with the athlete should be a coach’s primary goal.

At Sparta, we do not discuss groundbreaking nutritional tactics or the newest exercise fads, we just have excellent compliance with the basic, scientific principles of performance and recovery. This compliance from our athletes (i.e. everyone squats, everyone gets at least 8 hours sleep, etc.) stems from a trust that has been earned from a sincere interest in improving their lives.
