New England Patriots lineman Cameron Fleming had been an offensive tackle his entire career when the team asked him change positions to guard. We used his movement signature to identify the ways he needed to improve his athleticism to suit his new position, helping him change from a rotational athlete to a more linear athlete, able to change directions more quickly and move side-to-side more effectively. Watch the video to learn how we used a two step approach, first improving trunk strength at a slow speed to teach his neuromuscular system to connect, then adding velocity and skill work to teach those same systems to function at a higher speed.
