    Army’s 82nd Airborne Division Partners with Sparta Science to Increase Readiness and Performance

    FORT BRAGG, N.C. – Sparta Science, the industry leader in  Force Plate Machine Learning™  technology, and the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division, have announced a partnership for Paratroopers to utilize Sparta Science Force Plate Machine Learning™ technology to reduce the impact of musculoskeletal injuries. This new technology will be deployed at scale to aid in the onboarding of new Paratroopers, help the Division maximize performance, and provide real-time readiness insights.

    The mission of the 82nd Airborne Division is to, within 18 hours of notification, strategically deploy in response to crisis contingencies anywhere in the world. This elite Division is tasked with conducting forcible entry parachute assaults and securing key objectives for military operations in support of U.S. national interests. On any given month, there are more than 10,000 training jumps conducted at the base by the 82nd Airborne Division and other divisions at Fort Bragg.

    Sparta Science’s technology provides the 82nd Airborne Division with a proactive solution for rapid assessments that effectively and efficiently identify a Soldier’s strengths & vulnerabilities.  Sparta Science’s ability for quick risk identification and immediate prevention plans allows the 82nd Airborne Division to build countermeasures for at-risk Soldiers against potential future injuries.

    By providing the 82nd Airborne Division with Sparta Science software and force plates, Paratroopers will be empowered to take charge of their own health by performing data-driven, individualized training plans generated by Sparta Science’s software, leading to increased operational readiness across the division.
