In 2014 the Cleveland Cavaliers’ High Performance Director Alex Moore came to us about implementing the Sparta Platform for both draft evaluation talent identification and in-season athlete monitoring. Coach Moore wanted a software that would “provide the coaching staff and players with very simple and easy to understand information”.
Sparta Solution
The Sparta Platform has provided Coach Moore with some vitally important information. He can “Guide practice volumes and intensities, bring an athlete back from injury in the appropriate fashion, and see if there are any trends between training loads/intensities and game performances”.
“The Sparta Software provides very simple-to-view graphical information and allows us to easily compare athletes and also look at trends.”
